Free Furniture Pickup
Thank you for choosing to donate to Hello Goodbuy! Your generosity helps support our mission and makes a difference throughout our community. Have furniture or larger items you’d like to donate? We’d love to help! Hello Goodbuy offers free pickup service for qualifying donations within Brunswick, St. Simons Island, and Jekyll Island.
To help us schedule efficiently, we kindly ask that you provide between a 7–10 day notice whenever possible. Because our pickup schedule fills quickly, advance notice helps us serve everyone in the community.
Before Requesting a Pickup
To ensure we can accept your donation, please note the following:
- All donated items must be clean, in good, sellable condition, and ready for resale.
- All items must be accessible on the ground floor. Unfortunately, we are unable to remove items from upstairs, basements, attics, or other upper or lower levels. Please have all donation items located on the ground floor before your scheduled pickup. If there is an elevator present that will fit the pickup items, please let us know and we will work with you!
- Photos are REQUIRED for every item you would like us to pick up—not just the furniture. These photos are extremely important because they allow our pickup coordinator to determine whether the items fit within our mission and, just as importantly, whether we have enough room on the truck to safely transport everything. Without photos of every item, we are unable to properly plan our pickup route and truck space, which may delay or prevent your pickup from being scheduled.
- While we do our best to accept as many donations as possible, we reserve the right to decline any item at the time of pickup if it is not in acceptable condition or differs significantly from the photos provided.
How to Request a Pickup
The best way to request a pickup is by texting our store cell phone. While you’re welcome to call with general questions, all pickup requests and details must be sent by text so our team has an accurate record of your donation and scheduling information. With our limited staff, this allows us to spend more time serving customers and processing donations while ensuring nothing gets overlooked.

- Your first and last name
- The best phone number to reach you on the day of pickup
- The pickup address (home or business)
- Clear photos of EVERY item you’d like us to pick up. Please do not leave any items out of the photos, as this helps us accurately schedule the pickup and ensure there is enough space on the truck.
Response Time
Our pickup program is coordinated by a very small team. We kindly ask that you allow 1–2 business days for our pickup coordinator to review your request and respond. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to serve our community with limited staff.
