Monthly Sponsorship
Thank you for your interest in the hello, Goodbuy Monthly Sponsorship Program. The resale store, hello, Goodbuy is dedicated to assisting non-profit and civic organizations whose missions are to serve God’s people in need, regardless of race, religion, and background.
The goal of the Monthly Sponsorship Program is to target organized non-profit groups raising money for specific projects or events that A) might not qualify for/were not approved for funding through our Biannual Give Back Program B) need to receive funds in a time sensitive manor OR C) are focused on receiving extra PR for their group’s projects/events.
Chosen applicants who fulfill their requirements will receive 2% of the store proceeds for the entire month they are being sponsored.
Criteria for Qualifying Applicants
- The applicant is an organized non-profit group raising money for a specific project or event. The organization is not required to be a registered 501(c)3.
- The organization is ineligible if they received funds through our Biannual Give Back Program and vice versa during the same calendar year.
Requirements for Monthly Sponsored Organizations
- Recipients are required to engage in a mutual promotion of the sponsorship via social media, word of mouth, contact channels, etc.
- Recipients are required to provide a combined total of 25 volunteer hours during the month they are being sponsored through their own organization or individuals representing their organization. Volunteers under 16 years of age are required to have hands on supervision.
Approved Applicants
Organizations chosen for a sponsorship slot will be contacted by email or phone to advise them of their designated month and to discuss the logistics of organizing volunteer hours based on the needs of the store and the capabilities of the organization.
Possible Jobs/Tasks
- Receiving donations at the side door drop off area
- Sorting incoming donations in the main building
- Processing clothes in the Annex building directly next door
- Merchandising on the sales floor
- General cleaning – sweeping/dusting on the sales floor, etc.
- General maintenance – picking up trash/clearing up debris on the building grounds, etc.
- Assisting with pick-ups and/or incoming furniture donations
- Providing unique assistance with specific skill sets
